AKA Shows Off His New Alcohol Brand After Breaking Away From Cruz Vodka

AKA has debuted his new spirit brand after announcing his breakaway from the famous alcohol brand Cruz Vodka. He shared pictures of what appeared to be his new bottling for the anticipated alcohol brand in his name.

Taking to Instagram last night, AKA announced that he had decided to stop working with Cruz Vodka where the company was using his name for its Watermelon and Banana flavoured vodka

spirit vodka under his name. He will be working with the Cruz management team on this journey, his Instagram statement said.On Tuesday afternoon, he teased his fans with a first look at what seems to be a huge promising brand set to come up this summer after the end of his contract with Cruz Vodka.

Not much is known about the new brand, but sources close to the development claim he is reclaiming his Watermelon and Banana flavour from Cruz Vodka. There are high chances those will be his signature flavours in his new brand. Cruz Vodka, on the other hand, has announced that it will no longer be making Banana flavoured spirits after the end of AKA’s contract.

The “Fela in Versace” star has made the major business moves to compete with some of his peers in the musical scene. His nemesis, Casper Nyovest is also one of his competitors who already run a successful vodka brand, Billiato.Some South African A-listers already making big in the alcohol business include Boity Thulo with her BT signature peach flavoured sparkling drinks and Bonang Matheba – who is currently caught up in an ownership wrangle over Bonang Matheba MCC and House of BNG alcohol brand
